Training at Arineo

Your A-levels are as good as in the bag or your studies are not practical enough?
You are curious, do you like to work with computers and people? And do you like to throw yourself energetically into new topics?
Then apply for a training position as an IT specialist for application development at Arineo in Göttingen. Our IHK-certified trainers have more than 15 years of training experience - and between them, have already prepared more than 50 trainees for the professional world. And the best part: We train for our own needs! This means that, as a rule, our trainees become permanent employees after their training.
At Arineo, you can do your training in two different areas:

  • Customer Experience Solutions

Here, you will receive a broad education in modern web technologies and learn how to program and maintain large online stores based on SAP technology.

  • Microsoft Dynamics

Here, you will become an expert for ERP systems based on Microsoft technologies. ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning. An ERP system represents many processes, such as purchasing, warehouse management, and the sale of articles. During your training, you will work on customer projects and adapt this software to customer requirements, or extend it with modules for functionality that the system does not yet cover.

What you will learn in your training as a specialist for application development.

Basics

During your training as an IT specialist for application development, you will learn the programming languages necessary for your projects. By the end of your training, you will have mastered them just as well as your native language. You will also be very familiar with the processes that support your systems. Depending on the area in which you complete your training, you will become a professional in the creation, expansion, and maintenance of e-business solutions or ERP systems.

Create concepts and estimates

At the beginning of every project, there is the offer. This involves clarifying the most important project questions in advance. How long will it take to implement customer requirements? How many employees will be involved? And above all, what will this cost the customer? These questions must be answered in order to ensure that the project runs smoothly. As a trainee, you participate in the preparation of offers and learn where special attention is needed.

Software development

As an IT specialist for application development, you will learn - as the name suggests - how to develop software and, above all, how to modify and extend it. Your job is to program the software so that the customer can work with it in the best possible way and that the system runs reliably. To do this, you have to coordinate regularly with your colleagues and the client. You'll learn how to take specifications, convert them into code, and present your ideas convincingly. Another important part of your training is usability - you will learn to program applications so that users can work with them as easily as possible.

Test and customize applications

Once applications are programmed, the work is far from done. Now it's time to test the hell out of it! You need to make sure that your application works on all operating systems and devices, that interfaces to external systems are working correctly, and that data flows where it should. The application will only be installed once it has been thoroughly tested and all bugs have been fixed. As part of your training, you will not only test and enhance systems developed by your team but also existing applications that the customer is already using.

Working successfully in a team

Your soft skills are just as important to us as your professional training. We generally work in teams - so it is important that you learn to think critically and formulate your opinion constructively. You will also get practice in dealing positively with criticism and conflicts. These skills are not only important for us; they are essential in today's labor market.
